Pilot in development in Bishop Arts, Dallas
The room isn't ready. The day still is.
Independent hotels can't build every amenity a guest expects. Indie Foyer is testing a shared network of neighborhood spaces that operators can offer instead, starting with a place to work before check-in.
A foyer is the space you pass through before you're let in. We're making the whole neighborhood work that way.

Example scenario. Your stay starts before your room is ready, and the neighborhood becomes the hotel.
How it works
Guests get somewhere useful to be. Operators offer more without building anything. Local spaces earn from capacity they already have.
The guest has a gap
They arrive before check-in or have hours left after checkout, with nowhere good to work or wait.
The operator offers a nearby space
The property sends the guest to a participating local business, such as a workspace like E-Creative Space.
Access is arranged
The guest gets clear instructions, and the space knows who is coming. In the pilot, we coordinate this by hand to learn what is worth automating.
A neighborhood-scale network
Select a place on the map, or from the list below it, to see how it fits. The map is a schematic, not a street map.
Lines show a possible service relationship, not confirmed availability.
What the pilot tests
Indie Foyer, from STE, is an experiment, not a finished platform. Bishop Arts, with Mosaic and E-Creative Space, is where we find out whether this works.
- Demand
- Do independent operators see the arrival and departure gap as a real problem, and would they pay to solve it?
- Guest use
- Will guests actually go to a third-party space, and what makes it feel easy and trustworthy?
- Partner economics
- Does hosting guests make sense for a local business, and what payment arrangement do they prefer?
- Operations
- Who confirms a guest, handles changes, and fixes things when a space is unavailable? We do this by hand first and build software only for what repeats.
For lodging operators
Compete with larger hotels without owning a workspace, gym, or lounge.
- Give guests a useful option when the room isn't ready or after checkout.
- Offer neighborhood amenities as part of your guest experience.
- Help shape a model built for small independent properties.
For amenity partners
Workspaces, fitness studios, luggage storage, and other local businesses can earn from spare capacity.
- Reach visitors staying within walking distance.
- Decide how much capacity to offer and when.
- Help design the payment model with us. It is not set yet.
